The shift from a unipolar to a multipolar world, the growing influence of blocs such as BRICS+, persistent tensions between global powers, and evolving trade and security dynamics all carry profound implications for Africa’s sovereignty, stability, and development. Within this context, women leaders must be recognised as central actors in shaping Africa’s strategic responses. Their perspectives and leadership approaches bring inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation—qualities essential for peacebuilding, governance reform, and economic transformation. The Women in Geopolitics Debate Programme is a high-level Think-Tank platform that convenes both male and female leaders to critically examine Africa’s evolving role in the global geopolitical landscape. By applying a Pan-African, gender-responsive lens, the programme aims to develop actionable strategies and recommendations that amplify Africa’s voice on the global stage while reinforcing resilience across the continent.
